It is the job of the Attorney General to fight back when this attempt is made and protect our rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. As the Attorney General, Aramis will fight to ensure the separation of church and state is a reality in Florida.
Aramis Ayala’s top priority is to ensure women’s right and privacy is protected. She will always fight to protect this sacred right that has been settled into law for decades. The 15-week abortion ban is unconstitutional.
The “Don’t Say Gay” Bill is unconstitutional.
The redistricting map that eliminated majority-minority districts is unconstitutional.
Aramis is prepared to win these constitutional violations on behalf of the people.
Public Safety
As State Attorney, Aramis protected our communities and our rights. She has shown consistent commitment to focus on domestic violence and gun violence to reduce violent crime.
Aramis instituted groundbreaking reforms and policies to reduce recidivism and increase public safety. Her fight for justice and safety has been fought alongside the people and will continue across the state
Aramis is not afraid of the NRA and will work with the federal government to make Florida safer for all.
Economy
She is committed to investigating nursing homes that fail to adequately staff nursing homes and engage in sham investment schemes that seek to rip off Florida seniors.
In addition to launching investigations and prosecuting fraudulent insurance companies, Aramis will fight against all fraudulent and predatory lenders from conning consumers.
She will work to provide access to safe, affordable housing, expose bad landlords, and crack down on discrimination and deceptive mortgage practices.
Aramis will crack down on investment scams and securities fraud.
Environment
Aramis is committed to fighting to decrease Florida’s reliance on fossil fuels. She believed that it is time to transition to clean renewable energy.
Aramis will crack down on illegal polluters who contaminate our waters or our lands. They will be prosecuted.
A top priority as Attorney General will be to implement stronger drinking water standards to protect Floridians.
Labor
Aramis will defend workers’ rights. She will prosecute employers who steal wages and deny benefits. As Attorney General she will investigate and expose harassment. She has been consistent and clear that public safety includes workers being safe on the job.
